4. Handbags that can be carried across the shoulder or carried by the hand. Many handbags already have this design and it is still the trend for 2011.

5. Big handbags are always fun to carry, aside from being a pleasure to the eyes, they are very conventional. Be very careful in carrying an oversized handbag if you have a small frame though, let the handbag rest close to your hips rather than under your arm.

6. Another hot trend to watch for are handbags that have classic and timeless shapes like the one that your grandma has been carrying. The rectangular flap bag is very hot and a must have for you. They come in several different sizes and colors.

While handbags with giraffe prints have had their day, they are still very visible and people don't seem to get tired of those patterns. Choosing the right style and size for you would be a great fashion treat.
